THE FOUNDER

KAØS & CO. was founded by a medically retired law enforcement officer whose career was cut short by a severe line-of-duty injury. Forced to step away from a lifelong identity, he navigated recovery while confronting a diagnosis of severe ADHD — a condition that had shaped much of his life long before it was named.

Design became a method of rebuilding: a way to impose structure on chaos, create meaning from loss, and regain agency through craftsmanship. What began as a personal outlet evolved into a brand philosophy centered on control, intention, and quiet defiance.
